Oh, my naive friend, how I wish that were true!

But the simple and hard facts are, whether you're a high-priced divorce attorney or minimum-wage taxi driver, unless you live in a cocoon, the chances of YOU being a victim of Identity Theft are very real! These pigs don't prey just on the rich, they feed on average folks, too!

Ask yourself, who's going to catch them? The FBI? The local police? A Private Investigator? An angry mob?

This is NOT a knock against our police forces (God love 'em - my brother and two best friends are cops) but, let's face it, their focus and limited resources are often on violent crimes (rapes, murders, armed robbery, terrorism etc...) and crimes perpetrated against the masses not one individual!

Unfortunately, an isolated and 'silly, little non-violent' crime like Identity Theft doesn't warrant too much attention.
